my background & things to know
How long have you been a photographer? How did you get into it?
I have now been doing photography for 5 years now! I started growing my business when I was 13 years old! Even at a young age I knew I wanted to be a photographer. I bought myself an iPhone 7 plus when I was 12, and me and my sister would go on little photoshoots around my house! I got my first camera for Christmas in 2017. I was so eager to get better and to learn I had about 3 mentors teaching me. I would spend HOURS watching youtube videos on editing, lighting, poses, instagram tricks, everything you could possibly need to know. After I turned 16 I worked really hard to dig deeper into this profession to figure out what I truly wanted to do. Right then I knew, I could make this my career. In my opinion you are not paying me for my age, you are paying me for my talent. I absolutely love photography and I am still continuing to learn and build my skills every day.
What services do you offer?
I can pretty much do it all! My specialty is couples photography! I love being able to connect with my clients and make them laugh! My favorite thing about couples photography is I am able to capture raw moments between a couple! I also love going graduation photos and taking portraits! I also love taking family photos and documenting a family's growth over the years. Graduation photos are definitely second in line. I absolutely love capturing such a big and important time in a teenagers life/adult.
Do you provide unedited Raw images?
The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which is a standard process for digital photographers. Therefore, I do not provide the unedited RAW images.
How do you deliver the images?
The photos will be delivered to your email with a link to your online gallery. From there, you can download your photos with the provided PIN, share the link with friends/family, share to social media, and order prints. The link will expire 14 after they are delivered so be sure to download them as soon as you get them!
How long does it take to get my images back?
It takes about 2 weeks after the shoot to receive all of your images. If you need them back sooner you can pay a $35 rush fee and then it will take about 2-3 days to receive your images.
How would you describe your photography style?
I would describe my style modern, classic photographer. My editing style is true to color with golden tones. My favorite thing is capturing raw moments. I rarely capture candid photos. Other than portraits and family photography, my photos are rarely candid images. My editing style varies depending on the time of year, but I always love golden hues and contrast that make colors pop!
Will I have full ownership of the images?
Yes, once delivered, you have the rights to do whatever you would like with the photographs. I do, however, ask for credit by name for any businesses that use my work for any public or marketing purposes.
Are you okay if I edit the images you take & send to me?
I always ask my clients to please not put a filter or edits on top of the images I sent you from the gallery. I know it might be temping to put an insta filter on top, but I work really hard to make sure my images have the proper lighting and coloring.
Thank you for understanding!

My goal is to give you natural, timeless photography that captures your unique personality. That means that through my editing process, my goal is to make your photos look as natural as possible while still making you look 110% your best. There are beautiful editing techniques out there, and they are changing all the time, however, I want you to look back on your photos in 50 years and be just as impressed with them as you are now. Just like fashion, editing styles become dated. But I feel that photos with natural colors, simple editing, and using light and color to capture beautiful photos, instead of heavy post-processing, will give you a priceless gift that will last generations. Through all that, I want to capture your real personality and relationships through the images. You will of course get the traditional “everyone smiling at the camera photo,” but you will also get photos of you laughing, interacting with your loved ones, being silly, and just basically pictures of how you really are. We don’t all stand together and smile in the same direction, we smile at each other, and those images speak so beautifully about the relationships between people and families.
What should I expect in regards to the Photoshoot?
Photo sessions are about 20 minutes - 1 1/2 hours depending on your package (except weddings). We will meet at the selected location at the scheduled time, go over any special photo requests or needs you have, and then get shooting! We will do lots of different poses, backgrounds, and walk around our location to get new perspectives. I try to keep things relaxed, talk about you and your family, and try not to make it all about posing or stiff smiles. I like to capture the candid moments just as much as the smiling-at-the-camera moments. I’m happy to accommodate any fun posing ideas you have, or any props you’d like to incorporate. At the end of the session, I’ll answer any last questions and then we’re all finished! The following are a couple tid bits of information that can make your photo experience more enjoyable:
If you have young children, feel free to bring anything that will keep them happy (e.g. snacks, juice, favorite toy, etc.).
Please remember the weather. If it is hot, you may want to bring a water bottle; cold, maybe a jacket between shots.
Please feel free to bring any props that you find fun (I’ve had people bring sunglasses, hats, bicycles, signs, dogs, and even horses!).
If you are planning a clothing change, remember that it may need to be done in the car as many locations are remote.
I don't know what to wear!
Do you have any tips?
I actually created a whole page based on this topic! I give my best tips & tricks to help you feel and look your best.
